Cosmetic Services

Health and Beauty Working Hand-In-Hand

Every service we offer at High-Tech Dental is highly specialized so that we can get right to core of your dental issue to repair, restore and renew from the bottom up. That's one of the things that make our cosmetic dentistry so special. These procedures are not only meant to look great, they are meant to help you feel better and they are made to last. If you feel even the slightest bit nervous about your dentistry or if you have had trouble getting numb, ask us about convenient and effective sedation dentistry. It can even allow you to have several procedures completed at once, saving lots of time.

Bonding

Teeth that are cracked, chipped, or worn detract from the beauty of your smile. In many cases, bonding can help. We'll apply an enamel-like material with a plasma arc light. The treatment can often be completed in one visit, and by filling in the cracks, chips and worn areas of your teeth, it provides you with a healthy, younger-looking smile.

Whitening/Bleaching

White teeth symbolize health. We can whiten and brighten your teeth in one visit - and you'll walk away with a more youthful smile. We apply a power bleach, made by Discus Dental, and activate its whitening power with an ultraviolet light. With this Zoom whitening, your teeth can be up to 10 shades lighter in as little as one hour. To continue the process, achieve even greater results, and keep your teeth their whitest, we will create custom-made bleaching trays for your use at home.

Veneers

Porcelain veneers can dramatically transform your smile. These thin, strong porcelain shells are permanently bonded to your teeth, usually in two visits. Veneers can be used to close gaps, repair chipped or worn teeth, make crowded teeth appear straight, and/or lengthen and lighten teeth.

Porcelain veneers can also correct your bite, relieving the discomfort of TMJ - Temporal Mandibular Joint disorder.

Porcelain Inlays and Onlays

Tooth-saving Porcelain Inserts and Bridges are an alternative to crowns. If you have ever had a crown placed to restore a missing tooth, you know that part of the process involves grinding down the remainder of your tooth in order to place the crown or bridge. With today's technology, this process isn't always necessary.

We may be able to restore your broken, cracked or missing tooth with innovative Porcelain Inserts and Bridges, which require minimal tooth reduction - that means you get to keep more of your natural tooth!

Metal-Free Crown

Have you ever noticed that some people have blue gums and the bottom edges to their teeth seem dark? And have you noticed how it effects the brightness of their smile? This darkness is caused by the metal center of their porcelain crowns showing through.

If you have porcelain-metal crowns that are darkening your smile, we can offer a new technology to replace those crowns and brighten your smile. With metal-free crowns, your teeth will actually be stronger, and they'll look more natural too.

Metal-Free Smiles

The placement of silver fillings, which are actually made from mercury, is a dental treatment that dates back to hundreds of years. With the technological advances of modern dentistry, we now know that these fillings gradually expand and put internal pressure on your teeth, eventually causing them to crack and break.

Today, we have a better solution.

For smaller cavities, we'll bond a white filling material to your tooth. If the cavity is larger, we can place a custom-made porcelain insert, also known as inlays or onlays. We'll bond the insert directly to your tooth. Not only do these tooth-colored restorations look better, they are actually stronger. In fact, they can restore your tooth to 95% of it's original strength.

Implant Dentistry

Are you missing teeth? Then you are probably a great candidate for dental implants. Missing teeth are unattractive and unhealthy, causing remaining teeth to drift out of position. This can lead to a change in your bite, loss of additional teeth, tooth decay, gum disease, as well as migraine headaches.

Dental implants are titanium posts gently placed in the bone to replace a missing tooth's root. First we will have an ICAT x-ray taken of the area where the implant will be placed. This is a three dimensional x-ray which allows us to precisely place the implant in its ideal position.

An implant can be used to replace a single tooth. In this case a porcelain crown is placed on it. it feels, functions and looks like a natural tooth.

Dental implants are also a great solution for anyone with ill-fitting or uncomfortable dentures of partials. Implants will hold them in place. Your dentures will never fall out or come loose while you are eating laughing or speaking. You will no longer fear to eat or talk in public.
