Thomas Berard, DDS
I had spent most of my young life without ever visiting the dentist. In college, while studying for finals, I came down with a terrible toothache. I was very nervous, but the pain forced me to make an appointment. I ended up having a tooth pulled.
Through the years, I have personally experienced almost every type of dentistry that a person could have: root canals, crowns, bridges and porcelain facings. I've even had dental treatment to relieve headaches and jaw pain.
I realized then that I could help others with situations similar to mine. After graduating from the University of Detroit Dental School, I dedicated myself to providing the best possible treatment to every patient. I also realized that advanced education was crucial to offering quality care. I have studied smile makeovers and headache treatments at the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI) and have been recognized as a preferred LVI provider. To help patients who are as nervous as I was, I have taken courses in providing conscious sedation, and I have earned a prestigious Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.
I have been a dentist in Manistee for over 20 years. I belong to the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the International Association of Comprehensive Aesthetics.
When not at the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Janet, and our children, Janique and Jarrod. We also enjoy seeing our older son David, his wife, Leah and our granddaughter, Gianna who live in Indiana. Dr. Julie Stefanski
I joined the High-Tech Dental team in 2003 and a few years later became part owner with Dr. Berard. I grew up in Manistee, received my B.S. degree from Michigan State University and my D.D.S. degree from Indiana University. I have been married to Matt for 14 years. Together we have 3 children, Madison age 12, Matthew age 9 and Jack age 6. In my spare time I enjoy running, traveling and cheering on my Spartans. GO GREEN!
Dr. Blythe O’Donnell
I am happy to think I have been practicing dentistry in Manistee for nearly eight years. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know my patients and seeing their families grow and age. While not working, I stay busy at home with my husband, Ryan and our three children, Brynn, Jack and Andy. When times allow, I enjoy running, reading, and scrapbooking. We truly love the Manistee area and look forward to our future here.

It is hard to believe that July 8th marked 20++ years with High-Tech Dental as Practice Administrator. My son, Jason, is a graduate of Ferris State and is now an Assistant Project Manager with Whiting Turner. Jason recently married Jaime Allen and they reside in Baltimore. When I started with Dr. Berard there were four employees, now we have grown to seventeen, and our family of patients continues to grow everyday. After 20+ years I still love what I do and enjoy seeing old friends and new friends every day at High-Tech Dental.

Hi, my name is Carol. I was born and raised in Ann Arbor, MI. In 1991 I married David Kaczmark. We then relocated to Manistee and have two dogs, Briar and Thorn. I joined High-Tech Dental in July 1993 and have enjoyed working here with our family of patients. I enjoy going for walks, bowling and the great outdoors. Most important to me is my family and friends.

Hello, my name is Natalie Nichols, I joined High-Tech Dental in August of 1994 as a RDH. I reside in Baldwin with my husband, Harold and two wonderful boys, HB and Max. We all enjoy spending time outdoors and just simply being together.

I joined High-Tech Dental June 9,1997 as a Dental Assistant. Since having back surgery in 2003, you will now see me at the front desk. I have had the pleasure of working with many great people here along with exceptional doctors. I treasure our patients and look forward to meeting new faces as our family of patients grows. I married the love of my life, Tom Bladzik on April 14,2007. Together we have 4 children, Payton 13, Blake 11, Madalyn 9 and Pierce 1. Our family enjoys participating in and watching sports year round. Our other hobbies include hunting ,fishing, camping and being with family and friends.

I have been in Manistee since 1985 and have worked in the dental field since then. I am married to Larry and we have 3 children Tessa, Carissa and Kayla. We enjoy camping, fishing, boating and Michigan summers.

Hi, my name is Amy. I joined the High-Tech Dental team in 2000. I was born in the Toledo, Ohio. My husband Bob and I moved to Onekama in 2000. We now have a daughter, Autumn who is 6. We plan to truly enjoy the beauty of this area that we have chose to call home.

Hi my name is Chrystal. I joined the High-Tech Dental team in October 2001. I moved here from Traverse City with my family. I have a 2 sons, Christian 8 and Austen 4. I enjoy volleyball, swimming and anything under the sun.

Hello, my name is Christina Waligorski. I am a registered dental hygienist who joined the High-Tech Dental staff in 2003. I was born and raised here in Manistee. I received my degree from Ferris State University. I am married to Mason and we have a beautiful daughter Kendal who will turn 3 in October. In my free time I enjoy running, biking, swimming, bowling, painting and most of all spending time with family and friends.

Hi, I am Kathy Harrigan. I have worked at High-Tech Dental for 6 years. I have been married to Brian for 13 years. We have 2 children Kelsey 11, and Shane 9. I work closely with most of our orthodontic patients and I love it. We love to spend our summers camping.

I’m Lisa Hickok. I have been with High-Tech Dental for almost 6 years now. My husband Jeff and I have been married for 20 years. We have 2 daughters, Kelsey 18, who will be starting college in the fall, and Elana 15 who will be a sophomore. We enjoy boating, camping and skiing.

Hello my name is Nicole Shivley. I currently work as a Dental Hygienist and am very passionate about my job. I love meeting new people and developing strong relationships with my current patients. I am also a very busy mom of two young girls Callie 6 months and Reese 2 ½ years old. My husband Ryan and I have been married for over six years. We enjoy boating, shopping and just plain being adventurous. I received my degree from Ferris State University. I relocated back to Manistee after college to be able to work in such a wonderful office.

Smiles to you! I'm Holly Larsen and I have had the pleasure of working at high-Tech Dental as a Dental Assistant for two-and-a-half years. My work is both challenging and rewarding, and I never stop learning new things. In working with a learning-oriented Doctor, I too am challenged to learn and incorporate cutting edge ideas and procedures.
I am the mother of two beautiful girls, Makayla and Briana, and I strive to show them the importance of a good work ethic. I have been married to my husband Michael for 14 years. As a family we enjoy camping, swimming and canoeing. I am a member of the Missions Committee with my church.

I was born and raised in Manistee and graduated from hygiene school at Grand Rapids Community College. In May of 2009 I married my husband Jacob. We currently live in Manistee. In our free time we like to ski, travel, golf, and spend time outside with our friends and family.
